Magnum Quattro Protein: A Comprehensive Review
🌟 As a fitness enthusiast, I’ve put Magnum Quattro Protein through its paces. This isolate blend stands out for its unique 4-stage release, offering a sustained protein supply perfect for muscle recovery. The taste? Decent, but not the best in the market.
I appreciate the no-bloat formula and the substantial 30g protein per serving. However, it falls short in mixability, with occasional clumps.
What really sets Magnum Quattro apart is its lactose-free formulation, making it a great choice for those with sensitivities. Its transparent amino acid profile is a boon for us fitness geeks.
- High-quality protein blend
- 30g protein per serving
- Low to no lactose issues
- 80% protein per serving
- Average taste
- Mixability issues
- Does many things ok, nothing great

Magnum Quattro Details
Here are the detail on why I decided to purchase Magnum Quattro. I purchased Magnum’s Quattro because it’s a four-stage protein. At first glance–WOW! A casein protein that is lactose free.
If you’re interested more about Magnum Nutraceuticals. If you want to know about Magnum Nutraceutical, here’s Magnum Nutraceuticals story.
What is Magnum Quattro?
When you read about this supplement, you’re asking “What is Magnum Quattro?” Here why you may be confused..
Quattro states it’s an “All isolate blend 4 stage release”
- Whey protein isolate in the first 1-2 hours
- Egg protein isolate in the next 4 hours
- Milk protein isolate 7 hours
- Micellar casein protein isolate 8 hours
What does this mean? This means the different proteins should digest at different times over an eight-hour period. Whey protein isolate first, then egg, milk, and finally casein.
Does their isolate four-stage blend correspond to what the research suggests? The main question is this protein worth your money?
Magnum Quattro Protein Near Me
If you’re hunting for Magnum Quattro Protein near you, buckle up!Often, you’ll need to scout online, as local stores might not stock it. The prime spots? Direct purchase from Nutraceuticals or a quick click to Amazon.
Buying directly from Nutraceuticals is a breeze, thanks to their easy-to-navigate site and the option to split your payment into four interest-free installments. Plus, they’ve got the whole Nutraceuticals range, which means more variety and bigger subscribe-and-save discounts.
But, there’s a catch: free shipping only kicks in after you spend over $100.
Sizing options: a 2-pound container for $44.99 with 24 servings, which works out to $1.88 per serving, or the bulkier 4-pound option at $84.99, offering 58 servings at $1.46 per serving. Picking the bigger size limits your flavor choices, though, and sometimes even the number of servings you get.
Let’s head over to Amazon.
It heaven for Prime members with free shipping and handling, plus you’ve got access to 80% of the flavor range. In terms of value, it’s a mixed bag.
You’re shelling out $49.99 for just 24 servings ($2.09 per serving). Remember, you’re getting a 4-stage isolate protein. However, it’s worth noting that while this protein excels in several areas, it doesn’t necessarily top the charts in any particular one.
Value: 5. The price per serving is steep for only 24 servings. Yet, you are getting a 4-stage isolate protein. The big one is an isolated casein, no bloating. On the flip side, you’re getting a protein that does many things well, but nothing great.
Is Magnum Quattro Protein Amino Spiked?
Reading the label, there are no ingredients to suggest this product is spiked. I contacted the company for an amino acid profile on their product. To my surprise, I got a response…
I did find an Amino Acid table on their current Magnum pics on Amazon.
Protein Spiking: 10. It’s not spiked.
How Does Magnum Quattro Mix?
Quattro is a love hate relationship with mixing.
This is one of those protein powders that you need to mix for at least 30-seconds. If you do the couple of shakes and pound the shake, little clumps will be present.
Mixing with milk is not a hassle. But it’s one of those where you may need to shake for more than 30-seconds.
You need to hammer this powder to make sure no clumping happens. And it’s not the clumps at the top of the shaker. It’s those clumps where it’s powder in the middle and you’re drinking it.
Mixability 7. Quattro mixes, after 30-seconds. Some clumping will occur in the shake. You’re getting characteristics that are like a casein powder.
Magnum Quattro Protein Ingredients
Here is the ingredient list for Magnum Quattro, Fruity Hoops
Magnum Quattro Protein Ingredient List
- Magnum Quattro 4-stage Matrix (Whey Protein Isolate 90%+, Milk Protein Isolate 90+, Micellar Casein 85%+, Egg Protein Isolate): This is the core protein blend in Magnum Quattro, consisting of four high-quality protein sources. Whey Protein Isolate, Milk Protein Isolate, Micellar Casein, and Egg Protein Isolate provide a balanced and sustained release of protein, making it ideal for muscle recovery and growth.
- Natural and Artificial Flavours: These are used to enhance the taste of the protein supplement. Natural flavors may come from sources like fruits, while artificial flavors are synthetic compounds designed to mimic specific tastes.
- Xanthan Gum: Xanthan gum is a common food additive that acts as a thickening agent and stabilizer. It helps give the protein powder a smooth and creamy texture when mixed with liquids.
- Organic Flaxseed: Flaxseed is a nutrient-rich ingredient known for its omega-3 fatty acids and fiber content. It may be included in Magnum Quattro for added nutritional benefits, such as supporting heart health and providing dietary fiber.
- Sucralose (80 mg per 38 g serving): Sucralose is a calorie-free artificial sweetener used to enhance the flavor of the protein powder without adding extra calories. It provides sweetness without affecting blood sugar levels.
- Bromelain (Digestive Enzyme): Bromelain is a natural enzyme extracted from pineapples. It is often included in protein supplements to aid in digestion, helping the body break down and absorb protein more efficiently.
Magnum Quattro Ingredient List Specifics
Marketed as a 4-stage protein, half of the list is protein in Magnum Quattro. It’s a nice touch to see the percent grade of protein being used. And lets be honest, the egg protein is in the matrix to be advertised as a multi-stage protein.
Magnum Quattro is best suited as a meal replacement or before bed protein shake.
Interesting to find organic flaxseed in Quattro. This is the first time I’ve seen flaxseed in a slow digesting protein.
It’s nice to see Bromelain as a digestive enzyme to help breakdown protein and avoid GI issues.
You can only purcahse a 2 pound container from Amazon. That’s what I did here to take advantage of the free S&H. $49.99, 24 servings, $2.08 per serving.

Magnum Quattro, Marketing Hype: Reality Check on Protein Digestion
Examining the Protein Matrix of Magnum Quattro
Magnum Quattro’s claim to fame is its blend of Whey Protein Isolate, Micellar Casein, Egg Protein Isolate, and Milk Protein Isolate, supposedly providing a 7-hour digestion window. However, a closer look at the hypothetical absorption rates of these proteins offers a different perspective:
Protein Type | Hypothetical Absorption Rate (grams per hour) | Estimated Time for 7.5g Absorption (hours) |
---|---|---|
Whey Protein Isolate | 20 | 0.375 |
Micellar Casein | 3 | 2.5 |
Egg Protein Isolate | 3 | 2.5 |
Milk Protein Isolate | 3.5 | 2.14 |
Interpreting the Numbers
- Speed vs. Duration: While Whey Protein Isolate is absorbed quickly, the other components are slower. However, the total absorption time might not reach the marketed 7 hours.
- Marketing vs. Reality: The ‘7-hour digestion’ claim seems more like a marketing angle rather than a precise scientific fact, considering the absorption rates of the individual proteins.
- Practical Use: Despite the potential discrepancy in marketing, Magnum Quattro still offers a blend of fast and slow proteins, useful for varied nutritional needs throughout the day.
Reassessing Magnum Quattro
While Magnum Quattro might not exactly deliver on its 7-hour digestion claim, it does provide a diverse protein blend. Quattro is advertised for different times – be it for immediate post-workout recovery with Whey Isolate or for longer-term nourishment from Casein and Milk Protien Isolate.
The key takeaway? It’s a versatile protein supplement, but its standout 7-hour digestion feature might lean more towards marketing hype than a strict nutritional fact.
Quattro is best suited as a before bed or night time protein.
Ingredient Profile: 10. If you’ve been reading my reviews, any protein powder that has less than 10 ingredients is a 10 in my book. With this protein being a 4-stage protein, almost half of the ingredients is protein. But when you do the research, Quattro is best suited as a night time, before bed protein.

Mangum Quattro Fruit Hoops Flavor Review
Rule of thumb…
If a company advertises on their label “New Amazing Flavor” or “New & Improved Flavor.” You’ll be disappointed.
I’ve had my share of Fruit Loops, Fruity Pebbles, Coco Pebbles, Lucky Charms, and Cinnamon Toast Crunch. The best part of eating those cereals was drinking the milk.
Does Quattro’s Fruity Hoops come close to drinking the milk of Fruit Loops?
No.
Drinking it with water is okay. When you drink the powder with milk, it does increase the flavor profile. It’s a quick slap on the tongue, before you know it, it is gone.
Magnum Quattro Flavors
If you’re looking for Magnum Quattro flavors, you’re in luck.
- Chocolate Love
- Peanut Butter Cups
- Toasted Cinnamon Cereal
- Iced Caramel Macchiato
- Soft Serve Vanilla Ice Cream
Fortunately, Fruit Hoops is discontinued.
Best Tasting Magnum Quattro Flavor
People buying direct from Nutraceuticals shared that all the flavors are amazing.
Looking at reviewers who purchased direct from Amazon are limited. Extremely limited. Vanilla Soft Serve owns a 4.5 out of 5 star rating from 9 reviewers. As well as the other flavors.
Making a judgement call based off of the number of reviews left. Quattro popular flavors are: Vanilla Soft Serve, Peanut Butter Cup, Ice Caramel Machiato, and Toasted Cinnamon Cereal.
Flavor: 7. It’s a nice attempt on the Fruit Loops flavor. I think you’ll enjoy mixing it with milk. As stated above, it’s a quick slap to the tongue and it’s gone.
Is Magnum Protein Good?
To wrap up this protein review and before making that purchase, you’re asking yourself, “Is Magnum protein good?”
Magnum’s “4-stage release” protein blend is an intriguing feature, promising versatility for various needs. Yet, it’s essential to dive deeper into what this really means for you.
Key Takeaways:
- Digestion Time: Despite its multi-blend nature, Magnum Quattro may digest in as little as 4 hours. This raises questions about the efficiency of multi-blend proteins in prolonged nutrient delivery.
- Use Cases: While it might not be the ideal post-workout shake, Magnum Quattro shines as a pre-bedtime or night-time protein, offering low bloat, no artificial ingredients, and a high protein content (30 grams per serving).
- Quality Ingredients: With 80% protein composition and high-quality sources, it stands out for those seeking low-calorie, high-protein options.
