Isopure Infusions Protein Powder: A Clear Choice for Fitness Enthusiasts

It shines with simple ingredients and a no-bloat formula, offering a refreshing mango lime flavor – summer in a scoop! 🌞🥤
However, it stumbles in transparency, lacking a detailed amino acid profile. It’s a tad pricey for 16 servings, but its mixability is top-notch, avoiding the dreaded clumps. 🥄

Let’s jump into the Isopure Infusions clear protein review. Since I keep staring at Isopure’s protein powder, I will review Isopure’s zero/low-carb protein in 2023.
💰 Isopure Infusions -Amazon
Purchasing Isopure Infusions on Amazon offers a variety of options. I chose the Mango Lime flavor from their selection of five, noting that prices vary across flavors. Amazon’s Subscribe and Save program can provide extra savings, especially useful for those mindful of their budget.
For a 16-serving container, the regular price is $41.87, which works out to $2.62 per serving. With the Subscribe and Save discount, this drops to $39.78, or $2.49 per serving.
Amazon also provides larger 36-serving containers in Pineapple Orange, Citrus Lemonade, and Tropical Punch flavors. Their prices differ, with Pineapple Orange at $46.30 (or $43.99 with Subscribe and Save), Citrus Lemonade at $70.09 (or $66.59), and Tropical Punch at $78.57 (or $74.64).
Alternatively, Isopure’s own website sells the protein infusion in both 16-serving and 36-serving sizes, at $41.99 ($2.62 per serving) and $69.99 ($1.94 per serving) respectively, offering all flavors in the larger size. This choice is great for those preferring to buy directly from the brand.

Value: 5. Talk about a high price of entry for a clear protein. You’re going to be in one of two camps when looking at value.
- I only get 20g of protein per serving–PASS!
- The ingredient list is great. Only 5 ingredients!
However, there is a red flag about that 20 grams per serving. You’re not getting the full 20 grams of protein from the advertised 100% whey protein isolate powder.
🤯 Is Isopure Infusions Spiked?
Investigating whether Isopure Infusions is spiked, I delved into its ingredients. The list seems standard: Whey protein isolate, natural flavor, citric acid, steviol glycosides, and turmeric. No signs of recovery blends or suspicious additives. Even my light test, checking for sparkles or crystals in the container, came up empty.
The label boasts impressive claims: 100% whey protein isolate, 4 grams of naturally occurring BCAAs per serving, GMO-free, no fat or added sugars, gluten and lactose-free, and devoid of artificial flavors and sweeteners. But a crucial element is missing – the amino acid table. For a seasoned protein reviewer like me, this table is crucial to gauge the quality and verify if Isopure Infusions is spiked.
I contacted Isopure, specifically asking for the amino acid profile of Isopure Infusions protein powder. Their response? Similar to what I encountered with GNC Lean Shake 25 Review – elusive and unsatisfying. The reply, labeling the amino acid blend as ‘proprietary,’ raised a red flag for me. It suggests the possibility that the advertised 20 grams of protein per serving might be inflated, perhaps only amounting to 15-18 grams.
The lack of transparency in disclosing the full amino profile leaves me questioning. Is Isopure Infusions spiked? Without a detailed amino acid table, it’s hard to give a definitive answer, but the lack of transparency hurts the score.
Protein Spiking: 5. While I believe the protein in Isopure Infusions is 100% whey protein isolate, my concern arises when an Isopure rep states that the amino acid blend is “proprietary”.
This response raises a significant red flag. It suggests the possibility that the advertised 20 grams of protein per serving may not be entirely accurate and could be closer to the range of 15 to 18 grams per serving, possibly lower.
🤝 How to Make Isopure Infusions Shake
If you follow the directions listed on the container by Isopure: add 1 scoop followed by 10-16 fl oz of water.
If you follow the directions, you’ll get the specs of protein floating in your beverage. I’ve always been one to add water first, the scoop the protein. By doing that, you’ll most likely avoid the small dry spots.
Which one do you do first, water or powder?
You will experience some level of clumping. I shouldn’t use “clumping.” It’s more like specs of unmixed powder.
Random side note. This stuff is SUPER sticky. It’s almost like food grade superglue. If you’ve never got superglue on your fingers, you’re lucky!
Mixability: 9. Add the water first, then protein powder. Beware if you get protein dust on the outside of your shaker. Your hands will become super sticky!
🧪 Isopure Infusions Ingredients
Here is the ingredient list for Isopure Infusions Mango Lime clear isolate protein.
- Whey Protein Isolate: This is the primary ingredient and a high-quality source of protein. Whey protein isolate is processed to remove most fats and lactose, resulting in a purer form of protein. It’s used primarily for muscle building and recovery after exercise.
- Natural Flavor: This is added to improve the taste of the protein powder. “Natural flavor” typically refers to flavoring derived from natural sources, like fruits or spices, to make the protein powder more palatable.
- Citric Acid: A natural preservative and flavoring agent. In protein powders, it’s often used to add a slightly sour, citrus-like taste and to help maintain the product’s shelf life.
- Steviol Glycosides (Stevia): This is a natural sweetener derived from the leaves of the stevia plant. It’s used to add sweetness to the protein powder without the calories or blood sugar impact of sugar.
- Turmeric Extract (Color): This natural spice is used as a coloring agent to give the protein powder its distinctive hue. Turmeric is known for its bright, yellow-orange color and is a healthier, natural alternative to artificial colorings.
Simple ingredient list. Protein, flavoring, flavoring, sweetener, and color additive. With an ingredient list like that, shouldn’t this protein be a 10?
As I stated in the Protein Spiking Section, I’m not questioning the protein quality. I’m questioning the unlisted ingredients. What else is being added to this protein to get to the listed 20 grams of protein per serving?
Ingredient Profile: 7. If I had received an amino acid table, solid 10. This is the standard practice in the supplement industry, make a claim. Provide no proof of claim.

😋 Isopure Infusions Protein Powder Mango Lime Taste Good?
The last clear whey I reviewed, Clear Whey Protein, I shared in an article stating during the process of clear whey, the product becomes slightly acidic. Hence, more tropical and summer flavors.
The flavor I got from Isopure was mango lime. It’s good. It’s a nice change of pace. If you’re someone who doesn’t tart or close to sour flavors, this won’t be your cup of tea.

Which Isopure Flavor is the Best?
Based off of my taste test, I didn’t mind Mango Lime. Going over other reviews on Amazon, the Isopure flavor that was reviewed the best was Watermelon, Mango Lime, and Tropical Punch.
25% of the negative review stemed from these flavors: Tropical Punch, Citrus Lemonade, and Mixed Berry. Buyer’s shared it was too sweet.
The other reocurring thing for Isopure Infusions, as I shared in this review, clumping. Clumping occured even using a blender.
Flavor: 8. Isopure clear protein flavor profile is good. If you want summer in your protein shake. You won’t be disappointed.
🎬 Is Isopure Infusions Good

📊 Isopure Infusions shines with its simple ingredients 👍, no-bloat guarantee, and a flavor that’s like summer in a shake. ☀️🥤
However, it’s shadowed by uncertainties: the absence of a detailed amino acid profile 😕 and questions about the true protein content per serving. 📝 Plus, the $40 price tag for just 16 servings might make you think twice.
So, “Is Isopure Infusions good?” For those prioritizing a unique taste and gluten-free option, it’s a hit. 🎯

Whey Goods Clear Whey Protein Review
I purchased Whey Good’s Clear Whey protein and decided to do the review for the only reason: amino acid profile.
I gave Whey Good’s Clear Whey Protein a glowing recommendation as a “Buy.”
- Amino acid profile
- No bloating or GI issues
- 80% protein per serving
My knock on Whey Good’s clear whey protein was that it got too frothy. The other issue was that you only got 15 servings.
Unfortunately, Whey Goods discontinued there clear whey protein line.
