Gorilla Mode Protein Powder: Hype or Hit? 🦍🤔

3.4

Gorilla Mode Protein Powder Review uncovers a blend of potential and pitfalls. With 25g of protein per scoop, it promises a muscle-building boost, but the absence of an amino acid profile leaves a question mark on quality.

Mixing is a breeze, scoring high on smoothness, yet the ‘almost lactose-free’ label might be misleading, as some users report mild bloating.

The ingredient list is concise and includes digestive enzymes, but the veil over the full details of these additives and the protein’s origin muddies its ‘full transparency’ claim.

  • High protein content (25g per serving)
  • Smooth mixability with minimal residue
  • Contains digestive enzymes for better digestion
  • Missing amino acid profile, leaving quality uncertain
  • Potential mild bloating, questioning the ‘nearly lactose-free’ claim
  • Lack of full transparency on ingredient specifics and protein origin
  • Suspected unlisted ingredients in certain flavors

🏋️‍♂️ Perfect for Post-Workout, Not a Meal Replacement

Lacking slow-digesting proteins, Gorilla Mode is your go-to for post-exercise recovery, not for meal replacement.

🤸 How Much Gorilla Mode Protein to Maximize Muscle Growth?

Absence of a detailed amino acid profile means we’re playing a guessing game. To hit that sweet spot of 25 grams of protein and 3 grams of leucine, you’re looking at about 1.1 to 1.2 scoops (42.9g serving) for optimal post-workout recovery and muscle growth.

🛒 Where is Gorilla Mode Sold?

When eyeing Gorilla Mode Premium Protein, your avenues are essentially GorillaMind.com or Amazon. Opt for Amazon to steer clear of unnecessary hassles.

Gorilla Mind:

Shopping direct from Gorilla Mind isn’t exactly brimming with benefits. Sure, they offer free S&H in the continental US for orders over $150 and international freebies for carts exceeding $215. The payment options are broader, but here’s the kicker: Mandatory FedEx shipping costs you a hefty $17.12. Priced at $44.99 for 30 servings, you’re shelling out $1.50 per serving.

Amazon:

This is where the game changes. Amazon rolls out the red carpet for Prime Members with free S&H. Sure, you might have to wait a tad longer than the typical 2-day promise, but it’s a small price to pay for convenience and savings.

💸 Money-Back Guarantee

Keep in mind, once you crack open that container, there’s no turning back. No returns on opened products.

Value: 6 out of 10. My two cents? Skip the direct purchase from Gorilla Mind. For a wallet-friendly experience and the ease of Prime shipping, Amazon is your best bet for snagging Gorilla Mode Premium Protein.

📌 Is Gorilla Mode Premium Protein Amino Spiked?

Navigating the protein powder landscape, the question looms: Is Gorilla Mode Premium Protein amino spiked? GorillaMind.com asserts, “Fully transparent, 30 servings, high-quality whey protein, WITHOUT amino spiking,” adorning the container with a “Full Transparency Protein” badge.

Flashback to Mark Wahlberg’s Isolate scenario, where transparency was the mantra, yet an amino acid profile remained elusive. Ghost Protein, on the flip side, lays it all out, detailing protein specifics. So, I reached out to Gorilla Mind on Jan 31 for that all-revealing amino acid profile. Tick-tock, the wait continues.

⬆️ Gorilla Mode Aminio Acid Update

February 5th, 2024, I got an update. I have an official amino acid profile for Gorilla Mode.

📜 Gorilla Mode Protein Powder: The 3rd Party Testing Saga

Gorilla Mind trumpets ingredient transparency, aiming to equip customers with the full intel to navigate their health choices wisely. The essence of third-party testing? It’s the quality stamp, the assurance that what’s on the label matches what’s in the tub, hitting all those regulatory and industry high marks.

Here’s where the plot thickens – no amino acid profile in sight, even though Gorilla Mode’s macro nutrients proudly bear the Dyad Labs (Salt Lake City, Utah) seal of approval. And sure, Gorilla Mode doesn’t shy away from flaunting its GMP facility credentials.

Amino Spiking: 5 out of 10. My quest for the amino acid profile remains just that, a quest. The moment I clinch that elusive profile, consider this review updated.

UPDATE: I received an official amino acid profile for Gorilla Mode protein powder. However, I’m not updating the score because the protein powder could sourced from CHINA.

🥤 How to Shake Gorilla Mode Protein

Concocting the ideal Gorilla Mode Protein shake is more art than science. Here’s the lowdown:

Start with 8-10 ounces of your chosen elixir – be it water, milk, or something more adventurous. The liquid’s your canvas, the powder’s your paint. Adjust the ratios to hit that perfect note of texture and taste.

Pro tip: Pour the liquid first, then usher in the scoop of Gorilla Mode Protein. This little trick almost guarantees a clump-free experience.

⚖️ Powder Scoop Size

📋 Gorilla Mode Premium Protein Ingredients List

Here is the ingredient list for Gorilla Mode protein’s Milk Chocolate.

  • Whey Protein Isolate: A pure, high-quality protein source that aids in muscle recovery and growth, providing essential amino acids for peak performance.
  • Whey Protein Concentrate: Complements the isolate by retaining beneficial nutrients found in whey, supporting muscle repair and endurance.
  • Cocoa Powder: Infuses a rich, chocolatey flavor while offering antioxidant properties, making each serving not just tasty but also beneficial for overall health.
  • Natural Flavors: Ensures a delightful taste experience without artificial additives, aligning with a clean and health-conscious diet.
  • Xanthan Gum: A natural thickener that gives the protein shake a smooth and consistent texture, enhancing the enjoyment of each sip.
  • Himalayan Rock Salt: A touch of this mineral-rich salt enhances flavor subtly while contributing essential electrolytes, promoting hydration and aiding in post-workout recovery.
  • Sweeteners (Sucralose & Acesulfame Potassium): Carefully selected to provide a balanced sweetness without additional calories, supporting your fitness and dietary goals.
  • Papain & Lactase: A duo of digestive enzymes that facilitate efficient protein digestion and absorption, ensuring that your body receives the full benefits of each serving without discomfort.

I love seeing specific measures for multi-source protein blend. Gorilla Mind is being truthful with a great emphasis on isolate, than concentrate in their protein formula.

Gorilla Mode protein has a transparent label, yes. Transparent company…

What’s your take on the ingredient list? Have you noticed any difference in your workout recovery with similar protein profiles?

🗽 Where is Gorilla Mode Protein Made?

The enigmatic tag, “Made in America with international ingredients,” takes center stage with Gorilla Mode Protein. When protein powders nod to their global roots, Europe often enters the chat, typically heralded by buzzwords like hormone-free dairy or rGBH Whey.

Could Canada be the source, or perhaps an even more distant locale like South America? The plot thickens. I reached out for a country of origin breakdown, but I’m not exactly on the edge of my seat awaiting a response.

⬆️ Gorilla Mode Country of Origin Update

I requested a country of origin ingredients list. The disturbing part is that it is a similar boiler plate message received by people from Levels Grass Fed Protein: we source our sweetners internationally.

With Gorilla Mode, the representative shared the sweeteners are internationally sourced from China. Call me skeptical, the most expensive part of the protein is the whey protein.

Mind you, this is also a supplement company that used Canva for their official logo found on all their products. I’m not buying only the sweeteners are from China.

Unbiased Gorilla Mode Protein Powder Review
I’m supposed to believe only the sweeteners are from China? That is the same staement used by Levels protein.

Unbiased Levels Grass Fed 100% Whey Protein Review
I don’t have an issue with international ingredients. Those international ingredients should not be protein in protein powders.

Ingredients List: 6 out of 10. It’s a concise lineup, bolstered by the addition of digestive enzymes – a thoughtful touch indeed. But here’s the twist: despite the loud proclamation of “Full Transparent Protein,” the specifics of these enzymes remain shrouded in mystery. A peculiar move for a brand boasting about its openness.

UPDATE: Full transparent is just a term associated with Gorilla protein. It’s in the realm of possibility that Gorilla Mode’s protein source is from China.

🍨 Is Gorilla Mode Premium Protein Lactose Free?

Gorilla Mode Premium Protein touts itself as “nearly lactose-free,” a claim that echoes the familiar chorus sung by cold-processed protein powders like Pure Choice Farms and Levels Grass Fed.

But here’s the catch: if it’s already nearly devoid of lactose, why the need for lactase, the lactose-busting enzyme?

My encounter with Gorilla Mode left a subtle footprint of bloating, hinting that its protein pedigree might not be top-tier. The presence of papain and lactase is commendable, yet it subtly whispers a tale of protein sources that might not be the cream of the crop.

Nutrition Facts: 7 out of 10. Averaging the two flavors I sampled, Gorilla Mode hovers around 71% protein per serving. A solid score, but the plot thickens beyond the numbers.

👌 Which Gorilla Mode Flavor is Best?

Embarking on the Gorilla Mode flavor safari? Let’s separate the bland from the grand:

🍩 Churro (7.5): A chameleon of tastes. It kicks off with a curious medicinal twist, swiftly vanishing into the ether. While it teases your senses with the scent of churro straight from the wrapper, the flavor itself is a fleeting whisper of churro goodness. A commendable effort, but it’s like chasing a flavor mirage.

🍫 Milk Chocolate (8.5): Now we’re talking! Steer clear of medicinal mishaps here. Scooping it out, you’re greeted with a promise of a chocolatey journey. It’s like sipping on a thick, indulgent chocolate milkshake, sans the mischief of a malt shop.

But here’s a plot twist: there’s a fiber mystery in the mix. The texture hints at a secret guest, perhaps milk protein isolate? Questioning if all the ingredients are even listed.

🍬  Gorilla Mind’s Flavor Parade

Here are the flavors you can purchase through Gorilla Mind:

  • Vanilla Ice Cream: A classic symphony of creaminess.
  • Chocolate Peanut Butter: A decadent dance of cocoa and nutty notes.
  • Pumpkin Spice (Limited Edition): A seasonal serenade of warm, spiced notes.
  • Strawberry Banana: A fruity fiesta, vibrant and energizing.
  • Cinnamon Churro: A sweet spin with a spicy kick.
  • Milk Chocolate: A rich, velvety chocolate charm.
  • Cookies & Cream: A playful blend of creamy and crunchy.

🍫🍓🥜 Amazon’s Flavor Verdict

4.6 stars from a chorus of 342 voices. Yet, amidst the acclaim, some notes of flavor amnesia, synthetic aftertastes, and tummy troubles echo through the reviews.

Chocolate Peanut Butter divides the crowd, while Cookies & Cream and Strawberry Banana bask in the spotlight.

Flavor: 8 out of 10. My churro chase left me yearning, but the chocolate charm didn’t disappoint. Tempted by Vanilla? Could be your flavor jackpot. When diving into the protein pool, which flavor do you plunge into first?

🏁 Is Gorilla Mode Protein Good?

Is Gorilla Mode Protein Good? Let’s unpack this.

At first glance, Gorilla Mode Protein promises the world, but when you dig deeper, it’s like opening a mystery box.

Claims of “nearly lactose-free,” and a boiler plate response of “we source our sweeteners from China” raises concerns of where this protein’s real source. And the chocolate flavor? It’s like a puzzle with a missing piece. The taste is spot on, but it echoes milk protein isolate vibes. Why the secrecy?

Companies boasting “full transparency” often leave us with more questions than answers, banking on consumers not to peel back the layers.

But here’s the real scoop: amidst the ocean of protein powders, we deserve more than just a great taste. We need substance, integrity, and real transparency.

In a world where anyone can make a protein powder and market it aggressively, it pays to do your due diligence. Based on my in-depth review, Gorilla Mode Protein might not be the treasure it’s touted to be.

I’m curious to hear from you – based on this review, would you consider trying Gorilla Mode Protein, or do you have a go-to protein that you swear by? Let’s compare notes in the comments below!
