Unbiased Machine Whey Protein Review

Here’s my unbiased Machine Whey Protein review. As a fitness enthusiast, I’m always on the hunt for a protein powder that delivers not just on flavor, but also on nutritional value. That’s why I was intrigued to put MTS Machine Whey to the test – to see if it lives up to the hype and meets the high standards we fitness folks have!

Before getting into the review, I’ve been a big fan of Marc Lobliner for at least a decade. I watched one of his protein supplement videos on his YouTube channel in 2010, it resonated with me.

Marc made a statement about why it’s important seeing an amino acid profile. It may not be the exact words, but you’ll get the message.

Buying a spiked protein supplement is like paying full price for half a chicken.

Hopefully you get the idea.

Why pay for a supplement that doesn’t provide an amino acid profile. Seeing that amino acid profile is an important financial and muscle building decision.

4.1

Machine Whey protein is a blend of whey protein concentrate, milk protein isolate, and whey protein isolate. The claim of ‘Accelerated amino uptake’ might be a marketing spiel, but the product still delivers quality protein.

Available on MTS Nutrition, Tiger Fitness, and Amazon, it offers versatility in flavors and sizes.

However, the protein percentage per serving (65%) is a tad disappointing compared to others.

The standout feature? Its customer service is top-notch, providing fast and transparent communication. Its Fruit Cereal flavor is a tastebud adventure, making it a unique pick in the protein powder game.

💰 Where to buy MTS Nutrition Machine Whey

Scouting for MTS Nutrition Machine Whey? Here’s the lowdown on where to snag Machine Whey protein:

🤝 How to Mix MTS Machine Whey

How to mix MTS Machine whey is simple.

Unbiased Machine Whey Protein Review
Just because you can mix 3 scoops of Machine Whey, doesn’t mean you should.

Every 6 fluid ounces of beverage, 1 scoop of protein. The instruction listed on MTS Machine Whey even suggest you can go up to 3 total scoops (per 6lf oz).

Does MTS Machine Whey mix great?

When mixing, up to 2 scoops per 12 fl oz of water. I did not have any problems shaking with my shaker bottle. Upon mixing, you will notice small little specs on the side of the blender bottle. It’s not a completely clean mix compared to cold-filtered protein isolate like Pure Choice Farms.

2 scoops is the limit with MTS Machine Whey.

🏋️‍♂️ Is MTS Whey Protein a Meal Replacement or Post Workout Shake?

MTS packs three main protein sources: whey protein concentrate, milk protein isolate, and whey protein isolate.

However, MTS Whey Protein is suggested to be used as a meal replacement.

Alright, let’s size up MTS Machine Whey. More ups than downs here, but let’s keep it real.

The Downsides:

  • Shopping Options: You’ve got three places to snag MTS Machine Whey – MTS Nutrition, Tiger Fitness, and Amazon. Not your usual grocery store lineup. This limits your flavor choices and prices a bit, but it’s not a deal-breaker.
  • Price vs Protein Percentage: You’re shelling out $39.99, but only getting 65% protein per serving. For me, that’s a bit of a letdown.

💥 Gold Standard Whey vs MTS Whey Protein

In my quest to find the best protein powders, I’ve previously ranked ON Gold Standard Whey as a top contender for blended proteins. But how does it stack up against MTS Whey Protein? Let’s break it down:

Affordability: ON Gold Standard is not only widely available but also more wallet-friendly at $25 for 22 servings. MTS Whey, priced at $40 for 27 servings, is slightly costlier. Edge: Gold Standard Whey.

Amino Acid Profiles: Both brands are commendably transparent, revealing detailed amino acid profiles for their products. After scrutinizing both, it’s a solid tie in this department.

Mixability: Whether you’re shaking or blending, both powders offer excellent mixability with no clumps or residue. It’s a draw here.

Ingredient Quality: Gold Standard Whey boasts a leaner ingredient list, which can be appealing for those preferring simplicity. Winner in this category: Gold Standard Whey.

Nutritional Value: Here’s where Gold Standard Whey shines, offering nearly 80% protein per serving, surpassing MTS Whey’s 65%. For those counting macros, this difference is crucial. Winner: Gold Standard Whey.

Flavor Variety: While Gold Standard boasts a wider range of 18 flavors, the taste is subjective. I personally find MTS Whey’s 11 flavors more satisfying, especially for those who prioritize taste. Flavor winner: MTS Whey Protein.

Conclusion: If your goals align with weight loss and feeling satiated, MTS Whey, with its rich flavors and milk protein isolate, could be your ally. But for a blend of affordability, nutritional efficiency, and variety, ON Gold Standard Whey takes the lead. Both are excellent choices, but Gold Standard edges out slightly in overall value.
