Value: 6. The price point per serving is average. A company that’s waving the banner about honest and high-quality ingredients is great. Compared to Old School Lab’s, Vintage brawn. That’s a great question! Examining the ingredient list, the information listed stands behind the statement of PI: “never use amino or nitrogen spiking.”

Looking at the label and supplement facts, L-Gluatamine is listed; 3g. Added aminos are not added into the final total protein per serving count. Full disclosure and transparency of the added amount of Glutamine in PI Isolate Whey.

Performance Inspired advertises itself as honest. Examining the container and website, no amino acid profile is shared.

Providing an amino acid profile is going to provide educated and informed buyers a way to gauge if a product is amino spiked. Always examine the leucine.

Whey protein, on average, will have 10% to 11% leucine content per serving.

The protein formula comes with 25g of protein, yielding between 2.5g to 2.75g of leucine. A higher amount of leucine means that the cow had a great diet or is from New Zealand. Or you’re getting a potentially spiked protein.

PI I’m questioning the integrity of your protein isolate. What protein does Mark Wahlberg use? If I was him, I would use something that actually shows an amino acid profile. Is the potential there for added BCAAs?

Honest, value packed formulas? Doesn’t pass the eye test.

Protein Spiked: 5 (Questionable). To prevent buyer’s remorse, have the table listed on the product. Or request a copy of the amino acid profile. Hiding behind a CSR suggesting, “we don’t spike our protein with amino acids.” Saying and showing are two different actions.

Performance Inspired offers two types of whey protein – isolate and hydrolysate. Isolate is a 90% protein form with minimal fat and carbs, while hydrolysate undergoes further filtration for even easier digestion.

No enzyme blend, no added digestive enzymes, are added to Mark Wahlberg’s protein.

No. I did experience a small amount of digestion issues. There are no digestive enzymes, lactase, amylase, nor protease in this powder.
