Unbiased EkkoVision Protein Review
This EkkoVision Protein powder review was another special request. I live under a rock, and I do not have a TikTok account. My understanding is that EkkoVision has been heavily marketing its Ekko Whey.
Besides some noteworthy artwork on some of their containers, each container has a quote from Trent: “Trust the vision.” I’m not sure why I should trust Trent or his vision. Comment below if anyone wants to tell me why I should care about Trent.
Let’s get into this EkkoVision Whey Protein review details.
Ekkovision Protein Powder Review: Trust This Review, Not Trent’s Vision
Looking into the Ekkovision Protein Powder Review, you’ll notice social media hypes it up, but does it live up to the claims? 🤔 As a nutrition expert, I found the whey protein to be amino-spiked and lacking transparency in ingredient sourcing. The taste of Orange Dreamsicle was inconsistent, and the buying process had hidden fees. Despite its vibrant packaging, the quality fell short compared to competitors. Trust this review for an honest take!
- Fun, vibrant packaging 🎨
- Good mixability
- Amino-spiked
- Hidden fees
- Inconsistent flavor
- Poor customer service
- Questionable ingredient sourcing
- Lack of transparency

📖 EkkoVision Protein Powder Review Details
Besides receiving a mixed bag of artwork in each container, There is nothing to share about EkkoVision Whey. Outside the artwork, it’s a very generic container, with nothing being shared about Ekko Whey.
Most protein containers will list the following information in eye-catching font.
- How much protein per serving
- Nutrition facts per serving
- BCAAs per serving
- Why a company doesn’t use artificial sweeteners, flavors, emulsifiers, or no GMOs
- History about the company or what separates their protein powder from competitors
Here is what is on the label (besides the artwork and supplement facts)
- Suggested use
- Warning
- FDA did not evaluate the statements; the product is not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease
What you see with Ekko Whey is what you get—great (or generic) artwork. Names of flavor: that flavor is showcased with natural and artificial flavors, and the number of servings.
There’s nothing wrong with a generic label. Pure Choice Farms has one, sharing the simplicity of its product and cold-filtered protein. If you want the best protein on the market, check out my Pure Choice Farms protein review.
🏋️♂️ Is Ekko Protein Powder a Meal Replacement or Post Workout Shake?
The EkkoVision website needs to state when users should take Ekko Protein. However, reading the label, EkkoVision shares that the best time to take It is “between meals or after exercise.”
Due to the fast digesting nature of the protein sources, you are best drinking Ekko Whey post-workout.
💪 How Much EkkoVision Whey Protein Should I Take After A Workout?
100% transparent, EkkoVision Whey Protein is amino spiked.
The listed amount of leucine is 2.7 grams, with 25 grams of protein per serving. Technically, these are clinical-level doses to stimulate muscle protein synthesis.
Research suggests consuming 25 grams of protein and 3 grams of leucine. Since EkkoVision Whey Protein is amino-spiked, we are left speculating how many scoops you should take. I’m guessing 1.5 scoops.
Or, mix Ekko Whey with skim milk. The USDA’s leucine information states that one cup of skim milk offers 8 grams of protein with .8 grams of leucine. A cup of Skim Fairlife milk will offer 13 grams of protein with 1.3 grams of leucine. You will surely exceed the 25 grams of protein with 3 grams of leucine.
🛒 Where To Buy EkkoVision
You can only purchase Ekko supplements directly from EkkoVision.com. Here are the advantages of buying directly from EkkoVision
- 20% off your order when providing a phone number
- Automatic 10% off when using the code “EKKO”
- Buy three items, get 22% off
I don’t like buying directly from EkkoVision. The S&H handling fee is different.
- Up to one pound is $4.99
- Greater than one pound is $7.99
However, for me, a 3-day S&H from UPS was $12.24. I was automatically signed up for S&H insurance for an additional $1. There is no way to remove this automatic surcharge.
Here are the prices and sizes before any discounts
- 4 servings, $6.99, $1.75 per serving
- 15 servings, $26.99, $1.80 per serving
- 30 servings, $43.99, $1.47 per serving
- 60 servings, $67.99, $1.13 per serving
💸 Does EkkoVision Offer A Money-Back Guarantee?
You will see the following information on EkkoVision’s ‘Contact’ page.
Value: 1 out of 10. If you got sucked into EkkoVision’s social campaign hype, I’m sorry! This Ekko Protein has many red flags that will be addressed in this EkkoVision Protein Powder review—mainly protein sourcing, questionable 3rd party certifications, and the amino acid profile. These certifications may not be from reputable sources, casting doubt on the product’s quality and safety.
⚛️ EkkoVision Protein Powder Amino Spiked
When you purchase a 30-serving container, the amino acid profile is listed. However, one must be listed on the 15-serving container. That’s okay. When you visit EkkoVision, they have a specific section, ‘3rd Party Test’. That’s a bold move. The amino acid profile is a crucial aspect of protein powders as it determines the quality and effectiveness of the protein in building and repairing muscles.
Claiming a protein powder is high quality because it’s “third-party tested” by a dubious company is like calling yourself a fitness expert because you once watched a workout video on YouTube. It’s a shallow assertion that lacks genuine credibility and commitment to quality.
The two third-party agencies are Daane Labs and Mission Mountain Laboratories. Mission Mountain Laboratories does the amino acid profile, and Daane Labs does the toxicology test. What’s odd about Daane Labs is that the lab is certified by the FDA.
I examined Mission Mountain Laboratories’ workplace reviews. Two former employees shared that the lab will take money from supplement companies to falsify their lab tests.
📱🆚 TikTok Protein Powder Comparison
Although I’m not on TikTok, I’m sure all these protein powders are heavily marketed on TikTok and other social media platforms. Why not compare them all?
I firmly believe that EkkoVision, Built With Science, Gorilla Mind Whey Protein, and PEScience Select are spiked protein powders. They might be spiked because they list leucine, falsify their amino acid profile, or purchase their whey from questionable internationally sourced providers.
Here are the reviews of the compared protein powders
- Built With Science Protein review

- Panda Supps Protein Powder review

Spiked Proteins and TikTok
Why is this table so important? It compares a well-known, respected (and an industry leader) protein powder brand to the TikTok protein brands.
The one thing you should notice about all these protein powders is the amount of leucine per serving. Research shares that whey protein powders should have a naturally occurring amount of leucine between 9% and 11%, with the average being 10% leucine per serving.
3 of 6 protein powders have more than 11% leucine per serving. Built With Science borders at the top of 10%. However, the issue with that protein powder is their whey protein supplier; amino spikes their whey. Optimum Nutrition is honest and transparent about where they source their protein. Panda Supps Panda Fuel Protein also follows the 10% guideline.
If you buy protein powder from social media, there is a good chance it is low quality and may be spiked.
💸 How Is EkkoVision Protein Powder So Cheap
Here’s the reason why Ekko Protein is so cheap.
Ekko Protein is cheap because it is internationally sourced from a low-quality whey seller. Furthermore, it is an amino-spiked protein.

📍 Where Is EkkoVision Located?
This is my first time seeing a protein company with three listed addresses. Here are the three listed addresses for EkkoVision
- 14065 Main St, Houston, TX 77035
- 1234 Packer Lane, Suite 600, Stafford, TX 77477
- 1519 Industrial Dr, Missouri City, TX 44789
When I received my package from Ekko, the listed address was 14065 Main Street. We have three locations listed for the protein powders. That is very unusual. I’m unsurprised for a viral social media brand with three locations.
The phone number listed for all three locations, (646) 852-7374, automatically goes to voicemail.
For the record, If you want to start a return, fill out your information on their ‘Contact’ page. However, you will not receive a copy of the questions and concerns you sent. If you want a shot in hopes of a response, EKKOVISIONCS@GMAIL.COM.
📜 Is EkkoVision 3rd Party Tested?
The oddities continue with EkkoVision Supplements. None of their protein powders are certified free from banned or illegal substances. It’s pretty standard to see the cGMP badge on a protein powder. That is usually an indicator of an imported protein powder.
Unfortunately, EkkoVision’s website does not mention GMP certification; it’s found in their protein powders. Searching the FDA database, Unfortunately, with the listed addresses, I couldn’t pinpoint a proper location or an official certification for the listed three addresses for EkkoVision.
Amino Spiking: 1 out of 10. An “independent” 3rd party cashing checks to help create an illusion of a “high quality” protein powder. Three different addresses for a supplement company. And a phone number for customer service that goes directly to voicemail. None of these scream transparent or creating happy customers.
🥤 Mixing Directions for EkkoVision Whey Protein
The mixing direction for EkkoVision Whey Protein is simple, and it’s standard for all their flavors.
- 6 to 8 fl ounces of water
- One scoop of EkkoVision Protein
- Shake well for the best consistency and flavor
I know the importance of the best emulsifying experience. Also, does my flavor depend on how much effort I put into shaking an Ekko Protein?
Both flavors were instantized, and there were no clumps or cake bits when shaking up EkkoVision Whey.
⚖️ Does EkkoVision Whey Protein Come With A Scoop?
EkkoVision Whey does come with a scoop.
Shakability Test: 10 out of 10. This review gave us our first home run. I have no complaints about how clean Ekko Whey mixes in a shaker cup.

However, in 2022, the European Union banned titanium dioxide as a food additive (E171) due to concerns about potential genotoxicity.
However, titanium dioxide is allowed in the United States. There is a debate about potential health concerns when consumed in large quantities over time.

🌍 Does EkkoVision Protein Use Imported Whey?
You bet EkkoVision uses an imported protein powder. There is no badge indicating “using imported and domestic ingredients.” Due to the perceived value of EkkoVision’s Whey Protein, I would guess China.
Gorilla Mind uses its protein from China, so why not another viral social media supplement brand?
Ingredients List: 5 out of 10. As always, the amount of ingredients is based on the flavor you select. Overall, this is about the standard fare from a supplement company. Unsurprisingly, no badge indicates “international and domestic ingredients.”
Finally, I don’t believe Ekko Whey uses 80% concentrate. I had similar reservations with Gorilla Mind Whey. The liquid is too thick and is a borderline casein.
🥗 Ekko Protein Powder Supplement Facts
Here are the Supplement Facts for both Orange Dreamsicle and S’Mores.

🍗 How Much Protein Does EkkoVision Whey Protein Have Per Serving?
Orange Dreamsicle: 25 grams of protein / 34.6 grams serving size = 73% Protein per Serving
S’Mores: 25 grams of protein / 35.7 grams serving size = 70% Protein per Serving
Here is a list of flavors offered by EkkoVision: Tiramisu, Brownie Batter, Berry Cheesecake, Mint Chocolate, Strawberries & Cream, Chocolate Peanut Butter, Chocolate Milkshake, Vanilla Cake Batter, and Vanilla Ice Cream.
Here’s the issue: when you visit the page to purchase the protein powders, you are left wondering which Supplement Facts are for which flavor. None of the flavors are clearly labeled. I average the two flavors I have plus the other nine listed on the website. The running total average for all flavors is 71%.
🍨 Is EkkoVision Protein Powder Lactose Free?
Ekko Whey Protein Powder is not lactose-free. The majority of the fast digesting properties are primarily from whey protein concentrate. If you’re lactose-sensitive, you are going to have a difficult time digesting Ekko Whey.
Nutrition Facts: 5 out of 10. What is there to say about Ekko Whey? It’s amino spiked. The protein is sourced internationally.
👌Does EkkoVision Protein Taste Good?
There are no reviews for EkkoVision protein. If you’re trying to select a specific flavor, you can only rely on the opinions of individuals who have uploaded videos on TikTok, Instagram, or YouTube.
The reviews I watched were mixed, from meh to questionable. Flavor reviews for EkkoVision Protein could be more favorable.
Before going into my flavor review, I mentioned quality control for EkkoVision extensively. My containers have security seals so that no one can open the product. However, for Orange Dreamsicle, there was no paper barrier to prevent trace powders from entering the container.
🔥🍫 EkkoVision S’mores Review
Opening the container, you are greeted by a dusty wood smell blended with graham crackers. However, following EkkoVision’s recommendations for shaking for more than 20 seconds, I was treated with a mostly graham cracker taste, with a smokey flavor, mixed in with mini marshmallow bits: 7.
🍊🍦 EkkoVision Orange Dreamsicle Review
The crème taste of Orange Dremsicle is present. The issue is the orange flavor. It’s not present. The orange flavor is complex and has many layers. It started as an off-putting orange, then a mild, milky orange taste.
Your first sip may confuse you with an orange creamsicle. In repeated sips, you get a variety of different orange flavoring. The mixing directions state that your flavor depends on the statement, “Shake well for the best consistency and flavor.”
I refuse to finish Orange Dreamsicle due to a quality control issue. Even if it had safety and control features, I firmly believe that you should avoid Ekko Whey’s Orange Dreamsicle: 5.
⭐️ Ekko Protein Powder Reviews on Amazon
My usual Plan A for purchasing protein powders is always Amazon. However, you can not purchase Ekko Whey at Amazon. So, I’m left sifting through the Ekko Protein Powders video reviews on social media.
In most reviews, reviewers shared the flavor profile regardless of which flavor is meh. To be polite, most reviewers’ responses to Ekko Whey Protein flavors have been questionable at best.
Flavor: 6 out of 10. Don’t buy Orange Dreamsicle. S’mores are serviceable but on par with a value-protein purchase at a brick-and-mortar store.
🏁 EkkoVision Protein Powder Review – Final Thoughts
This has been my 4th request to do a viral protein powder review. EkkoVision is bypassing a lot of mislabelling and misinformation. I have never tried any of their other supplements.
The recurring theme from my research and viewing other individuals’ opinions about EkkoVision has been the same: EkkoVision is a value-based protein powder.
Folks, what’s the one thing we know about value-based protein powders? Value and a high-quality product never go hand-in-hand. What does Ekko Whey get wrong?
- Improper or mislabeled containers do not provide all the facts
- The buying process is cumbersome; you are charged an extra $1 for package insurance
- Why have three physical locations for a supplement company
- I don’t believe that EkkoVision Whey is manufactured in an FDA-registered facility
- The 3rd party analysis is misleading
- Ekko Whey is an amino-spiked protein
- Poor customer service
- Who’s who of where the protein powder is sourced
- I’m questioning the ingredient list. This Ekko Whey has the characteristics of a low-grade concentrate: it is thick and viscous.
The only redeemable aspect of EkkoVision Whey is some of the artwork. However, the effort involved is left more to be desired. We got a dude with ripped muscles and in different colors. We have a generic s’mores stock photo on another container, then edited in Canva.
Ekko Whey has the look and feel of a quick cash grab.
🤔 Is EkkoVision Protein Good?
Let’s answer this question: is EkkoVision Whey Protein good?
Based on my research, Ekko Whey has various issues, ranging from poor customer service to questionable buying practices through the website, a lack of transparency on Ekko Whey, questionable ingredient sourcing and mislabeling, and finally, EkkoVision Whey Protein Powder is amino-spiked.
I’m all for people trying to make a living and building a brand. However, EkkoVision is misleading social media users into “believing the hype” or trusting the vision. I’m not going to lie. Some of the artwork in their Ekko Whey containers is awesome.
But once you get past the skin-deep relation of Ekko Whey, you start asking yourself, “Why am I committing to this relationship??
Ekko Whey is a very low-quality protein powder, offering nothing more than a cash grab for EkkoVision. Don’t be like me, buying this protein powder and trying to pawn off the potential GI issue protein.
EkkoVision Protein is not a good protein powder.
I want to know your thoughts. Did I get this EkkoVision Protein Powder review right? Do you agree with my flavor assessment? Or am I being unbiased because I already watched others review Ekko Whey Protein?
